Prediabetes is a laughing matter in latest Ad Council PSA

You don't have time to get tested, so let's just do this now

You don’t have enough fingers to count the number of PSAs that urge you to get tested for a disease. So rather than make one more, the Ad Council—working with the CDC and Ogilvy & Mather—have produced an ad that dispenses with the pleas and gets right down to business. Hold up three fingers if you’re over 60, two if you’re not very active, three if you’re overweight, instructs the funny doctor. If you’re holding up too many fingers, guess what. You’re one of the 86 million people who already has prediabetes. Sorry!

The campaign, which launches this month, will include TV, radio, OOH and print ads. (And you can also take the minute-long test on DoIHaveDiabetes.org.)
