Saller will celebrate 20 years at Diageo in November and her ambition to force the advertising industry to become more diverse and tackle the underrepresentation of women within agencies – and within ads – has moved up a gear. At the end of last year she wrote to her agencies, demanding to know the percentage of women in their creative leadership teams and overall management; information on their gender pay gap; and their plans to address gender imbalances in their businesses.
