Poll: Do companies need chief diversity officers in 2016?

Should everyone take responsibility for diversity, or are champions for inclusion still needed?

News last week that Deutsch had eliminated its SVP, director of diversity and inclusion role has spurred debate across the industry. "One of the philosophies we lean into is that everybody at Deutsch, from the CEO to the receptionist, owns diversity," said Vonda LePage, EVP, director of communications. Is the Interpublic Group agency, which has long been known for female leadership, on to something, or is it headed down a dangerous road?
