PokerStars to back Flextech channels

IDS has signed its biggest sponsorship deal to date, with online gaming company PokerStars backing Flextech's new TV channel Player, and Challenge for the next two years.

The £1m-plus deal will give PokerStars exclusive sponsorship of all poker content on both channels and two hours of sports entertainment per week on the soon to be launched Player. It also includes exclusive sponsorship of Flextech TV's gaming website,

Tamar Yaniv, director of marketing, EMEA, for PokerStars, said: "We believe these channels will give our brand the exposure we're looking for and drive new acquisition."
