Play a polo match in Piaget's first virtual-reality video

Unit9 helps viewers get a taste of the good life with 360-degree film

Swiss watchmaker Piaget is trying to bring luxury to the masses in more ways than one. Its new Polo S model is priced at less than $10,000 (Esquire calls it an "everyday watch"), and the company enlisted Unit9 to create a 360-degree virtual reality video of a polo match — a sport not known for accessible pickup games. The first-person POV shots were taken with a helmet cam worn by a jockey. Additional footage was shot by a drone, as well as with more traditional static rig shots. The Piaget Polo Experience was directed by Unit9 mainstay Anrick Bregman, who has also created Unit9 videos for brands including Toyota, Stella Artois and Bulgari.
