Pitch update: Costa, National Trust, Halfords

Agencies compete for Halfords while Mother pulls out of the race.

Karmarama has joined fellow incumbent 101 in not repitching for Costa. Shortlisted agencies include Anomaly London, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Grey London. As Costa is looking for a shop with a global footprint, UK-based, seven-year incumbent Karmarama has chosen not to be part of the process. AAR is handling the review.

The National Trust ad review is down to a shoot-out between Leo Burnett London and MullenLowe London. Agency Insight is handling the contest. Incumbent 18 Feet & Rising is not repitching.

Procter & Gamble held pitches for its UK and northern Europe media review this week and last week. It began talks with agencies last year and confirmed the review in January 2017. Starcom handles most of the UK account, while MediaCom works on press.

FCB Inferno, Iris, J Walter Thompson and Karmarama have been shortlisted for Halfords. Incumbent Mother London withdrew from the review.

Agencies interested in the Britvic creative business need to submit RFIs this week. The soft drinks company is reviewing its account with the help of Creativebrief. It previously worked with BBH, which is not repitching.
