Pitch update: Co-op, TfL, Savills, Kellogg, eHarmony, Aviva, Premier Inn

EHarmony: now searching for a creative agency that can provide comms and content services
EHarmony: now searching for a creative agency that can provide comms and content services

The Co-operative Group's creative pitch is down to two: the incumbent, Leo Burnett London, and WCRS.

MullenLowe London and Ogilvy & Mather London are out of the AAR-run process. The final meetings will take place in the next fortnight.

Transport for London is now unlikely to confirm the victor of its advertising and media reviews through AAR until after its April board meeting. The third part of the process – the creative pitch for the Greater London Authority services such as the Metropolitan Police – is expected to kick off with an Official Journal of the European Union tender after Easter.

Pitches for the Savills digital account have been pushed back following tissue meetings on 7 March. The shortlisted agencies – Create, MullenLowe Profero, The Bio Agency and Wunderman – now have an extra three weeks to fine-tune their presentations. The pitch process is being run through Oystercatchers.

A shortlist has yet to be announced in Kellogg’s European media and digital review, but selected agencies will need to gear up quickly as the pitches could take place as soon as April. The Dentsu Aegis Network shops Carat, iProspect and Isobar handle the accounts and have been invited to repitch.

EHarmony will shortly begin the search for a new creative agency. But, according to the incumbent, KBS Albion, the dating service’s marketing needs have changed and it is now after a shop that can provide comms and content services, as opposed to strategic advice. KBS Albion declined to repitch for the business but will help eHarmony with the search.

Pitches for Aviva’s £60 million international media account are expected next week. The contest is thought to be down to the incumbent, ZenithOptimedia,  MEC and an Omnicom Media Group consortium. A decision is expected by April.

Premier Inn is holding chemistry meetings with agencies about its advertising account this week and next. The incumbent, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, is still involved in the process, which is through AAR.
