Pinterest celebrates LGBTQ+ pinners for Pride

The spot shows how Pinterest shapes and inspires people's identities.

People often use Pinterest to find new recipes or home decor inspiration, but some pinners credit the platform for helping them be their authentic selves. In the spot "Show Your True Colors," members of the LGBTQ+ community share what Pinterest means to them.

"Having come fom a culture where I didn’t see anyone that looked like me in the sense of, like, queer people, I was doing a lot of Pinetrest board making," one user says. Another pinner added, "I grew myself on the Internet first before I grew myself in real life." The spot ends with people sharing where they come from and their identities, encompassing the diverse LGBTQ+ community around the world.
