The limited-edition offerings, which take their inspiration from the humble cake, a popular fixture at British-style afternoon teas, have been named The Indulgence, The Pavlova, and The Jam.
The store’s Magnum Pleasure makers will dip each customer's ice cream into melted chocolate, at which point they will be able to select their desired topping to sprinkle over the ice cream as the chocolate sets.
Customers who choose to indulge in an Afternoon Tea-inspired creaton will also have the opportunity enter a competition to win a fashion-inspired ‘Prêt-à-Portea’ afternoon tea for two at The Berkeley Hotel.
The flavours in detail:
- The Indulgence - chocolate ice cream, dark chocolate dip, brownie, honeycomb, silver pearls and milk chocolate drizzle.
- The Pavlova - classic vanilla ice cream, milk chocolate dip, meringue, strawberry pearls, pistachio, white chocolate drizzle.
- The Jam - raspberry ice cream, blueberry, blackberry, goji berry, dark chocolate drizzle.
The Unilever ice cream brand first launched its dipping bar concept last year, with activity in London as well as Australia, Brazil and China.
