Malt Scotch whisky brand The Macallan invited consumers into its London lair experience this week (2-3 June), in partnership with Esquire magazine.

Held at Two Temple Place in London, The Macallan Residence was designed to give ticket holders a sensory tour through the brand’s 1824 series, which is comprised of Gold, Amber, Sienna and Ruby single malts.

Esquire offered exclusive styling services and sartorial insights, while Artisan du Chocolat hosted unique chocolate pairing sessions.

Guests could partake in a masterclass from expert mixologists, who showcased the art of creating the ultimate whisky cocktail and kept drinks flowing throughout the night.

As they left the lair, visitors were presented with an exclusive goody bag containing the items needed to create The Macallan’s perfect serve.

The event was devised by brand experience agency Because.

Sharon Richey, chief executive of Because, told Event: "We are honoured to have hosted this luxurious event for a brand as prestigious as The Macallan. From the partnerships and activations down to the venue and décor, the event was well in line with the luxury appeal of the brand.

"Through the various activations and thanks to the work of the excellent brand ambassadors we enlightened taste buds, educated noses and inspired iconic style choices."
