The first event Industry TweetUp for 2013 took place at No 4 Hamilton Place last night (12 March).

It was organised by Concerto Group’s Peter Kerwood, Tim Williams from Luma and journalist Mike Fletcher.

More than 100 guests attended the event at the headquarters of the Royal Aeronautical Society. Dish Catering provided the food, and the expert speaker on the night was Katie McPhee, the UK community manager at ticketing company Eventbrite.

Kerwood said: "Last nights TweetUp offered a great chance to meet, network and learn more about social technology tools for events. Our speaker from Eventbrite was inspiring. I spoke to lots of people on the night who found the event to be very useful both personally and professionally."

The team behind this event will be hosting monthly TweetUps during 2013 at venues all over London.

Previous TweetUps have been hosted at the Sea Life London Aquarium, The Brewery, and Madame Tussauds.
