Event organisers EventMerchandising broadcast the race at Silverstone racetrack live on giant outdoor screens for fans to enjoy. To complement the fast-paced excitement at the sporting event, guests were given the chance to take part in a range of interactive activities.
Official F1 simulators were available to give fans a chance to drive around a digital Silverstone circuit, while the Pit Stop Challenge dared participants to change an F1 car’s tires under pressurised time restraints.
Fans were also given the chance to experience the lifestyle of a F1 driver at the Driver Fitness station, where support staff gave an insight into the fitness, diet, dexterity and reaction times training of the drivers' physical conditioning programme.
A chill zone, including a beer garden, was also on offer for guests to relax in and enjoy live music.
Following the summer’s stint in London, the Fanzone will travel to Mexico City, Mexico, at the end of October and Abu Dhabi, UAE, in November.
