The event, which took place yesterday at Halfords' head office in Redditch, saw around 600 Halfords staff, from stakeholders and senior management to the warehousing and distribution team, attending during the course of the day to experience De Vere's hospitality and food and beverage offering.
This was the largest roadshow event of its kind hosted by De Vere Venues. A number of food stations serving a selection of dishes that are proving popular with delegates were showcased, including a Mexican-style station with chilli-con-carne and fajitas, pulled pork prepared on a charcoal coal station, a classic summer barbecue stand and healthy and energising dishes from the Verve Deli.
The pop-up experience aimed to strengthen the existing relationship between Halfords and De Vere Venues. The retailer has placed a large proportion of its training business with De Vere, and the event will also give staff at Halfords the opportunity to meet members of the De Vere team.
