The CBBC Live event brought to life some of the channel's most popular programmes and featured four interactive zones themed around Wolfblood, CBBC HQ Zone, Match Of The Day Kickabout, and Cbeebies favourite Old Jack’s Boat.
A central stage area hosted shows from the Blue Peter team, Rastamouse and CBBC breakfast presenters Sam and Mark.
Last summer CBBC hosted a Sportarama event in Salford, Manchester, to bring to life the atmosphere of the Beijing IAAF World Athletic Championships and inspire children's enthusiasm for sport.
