Tinder’s global ad is basically a history lesson in the world of dating, tackling old social conventions that kept people apart with a beautiful animated film. The role of inclusivity is also portrayed brilliantly here, reinforcing how the app can be used by anyone.
I most enjoyed the premise of taking dating back to the basics of two "someones" wanting to "hang out", and production company Buck's use of computer animation, real-life sets and modelling really brought this concept to life.
The 75-second spot, accompanied by a calming voiceover, should convince all singletons to re-download Tinder and give it another shot for the hundredth time.
