People moves for the week

Industry comings and goings include KBS, DDB Worldwide, DigitasLBi, Havas North America, and Y&R

Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal & Partners appointed Guy Hayward as its global chief executive. He will be responsible for KBS’ agencies around the world and charged with ac­celerating global growth.

DDB Worldwide has hired Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo’s Icaro Doria as its new chief creative officer for the New York office. Doria fills the role left vacant by Matt Eastwood, who left to join J. Walter Thompson as its global creative chief last June.

DigitasLBi has named Ronald Ng North American chief creative officer. Ng joins the agency from BBDO & Proximity Singapore, where he served as Chief Creative Officer for that office, as well as head of the network's Asia Creative Council.

Havas North America has appointed Tom Goodwin to the new position of SVP of strategy and innovation. Goodwin comes over from The Tomorrow Group where he was founder and director of the agency.

Omar Quinones is the new group planning director at CP+B Miami. He returns to CP+B from RP3 Agency where he led brand strategy as Director of Strategy, Insights and Engagement.

Ronny Northrop is now CCO of Y&R's California office after a promotion from executive creative director.


Tarun Rai has joined JWT as South Asia CEO. Meanwhile, Deepak Lambda has replaced Rai as CEO of Worldwide Media at Bennett, Coleman and Company.

Cheil Worldwide has named Malcolm Poynton global CCO.
