Penguin to host festival-style events for Pride

Penguin Books is hosting a series of festival-style events around Pride in London, Manchester and Brighton.

There will be live readings from its LGBTQ+ authors, spoken word performances and live music.

The activations will coincide with the annual Pride events and will be in Manchester and Brighton for the first time this year. Penguin held a similar experience in London last year.

Poet and playwright Toby Campion will host this year’s events with a line-up that includes poets Jay Bernard and Dizraeli, writer Matthew Todd and musician Kal Lavelle.

"Penguin Pride on tour 2018" runs between July and August.
