Bergen Merey, who has held a number of marketing roles over nearly 25 years with P&G, is joining Müller Dairy as managing director in May.

Merey most recently led the FMCG giant’s entire business portfolio in the Benelux countries. Prior to this role he had been vice-president of its snacks division in Western Europe and general manager for the Pringles brand, overseeing its launch into Asia.

Müller Dairy’s acting managing director Andrew McInnes will revert to his role as chief financial officer of Müller UK & Ireland Group.

The chief of the overall Theo Müller group, Ronald Kers, said Merey’s leadership would be "crucial at what is an exciting phase in the development of Müller in the UK".
