The brand has worked with Wieden & Kennedy for the past year, but the agency did not produce any work and the pair split earlier this year.
Prior to this, Ovo worked with Fabula, which created a TV campaign for the brand in 2014.
Ovo is one of several smaller energy companies that is trying to break the dominance of the "big six" energy suppliers.
Ovo Energy came out on top in a recent Which survey based on customer feedback, in which it was given a score of 82% of customer satisfaction.
