Oreo's fun new global campaign asks fans to 'open up'

Adam Lambert song, roller skates propel animated spots from The Martin Agency

There is no one right way to eat an Oreo. But the brand's new global campaign strongly suggests something is lost when we stop twisting them open. The "Open up with Oreo" campaign, debuting in more than 50 markets worldwide, kicks off with a vibrant, colorful spot from The Martin Agency featuring an upbeat song from Adam Lambert that encourages fans to be more open to others. "While children are naturally open, adults begin to default to the familiar, which can cause them to close themselves off to others," the Mondelez brand wrote in a release. The campaign will also feature digital activations, launching Feb. 2, that demonstrate how an Oreo can bring people together in unexpected ways.
