The features an original reggaetón song composed by Massive Music, with lyrics written by Oreo and The Martin Agency and performed by Becky G (real name Rebbeca Marie Gomez).
The campaign shows Gomez enjoying some time with friends and family, but as the campaign shows, even when she’s alone her family is with her in spirit as she is surprised with a pack of Oreos and a sweet note.
The campaign shows both younger and older generations enjoying life and bonding over song and dance- and Oreos, but also showcases the importance of family as well.
The lighthearted but surprisingly impactful ad which is aimed at grabbing a share of the Hispanic younger Hispanic market which will be tuned into the Latin Grammys tonight, shows Becky G in a humanizing light- something her younger fans will surely appreciate.
According to data from Univision, last year’s show hit nearly 7 million concurrent viewers over the age of two, making it a worthwile opportunity for brands seeking to expand their marketing to the US Hispanic audience.
