UK ad agencies were unable to catch Ogilvy, which had led Campaign's new-business table for 2017 for almost the entire year.

WPP's Ogilvy topped Campaign's creative new-business league for 2017 after picking up two giant accounts: Vodafone in January (£84.9m, formerly at Grey London) and Boots in February (£41.2m, formerly with Mother).

In second place was VCCP, which picked up Cadbury in June from Fallon London and Domino's Pizza in April from Iris, while Havas London was in third after recording eight account wins in 2017.

Each week, Campaign publishes the agency new-business leagues across the creative and media sectors.

The tables rank agencies according to how much business they bring in as well as any accounts they lose.
