Odell Beckham's 'virtual' reality prank for Verizon is wonderfully cathartic

Tired of the VR hype? This is the stunt for you

"It’s gonna seem like you’re really seeing something that’s really real," says Dr. Bill, an actor in a lab coat, as he prepares real Verizon customers for a pretty amazing prank. After donning the headsets, the customers begin to interact with a "virtual" Odell Beckham, Jr., until the experience becomes way realer than they expected. The film, created by Momentum Worldwide, is part of Verizon’s "Better Matters" campaign, which seeks to position the company ‘s network as the key to accessing quality content.
