Two new ads from agency Positivity help position the beef jerky brand as a performance booster
Oberto Beef Jerky has signed two more spokes-stomachs to its "You Get Out What You Put In" campaign. The new spots from agency Positivity feature Patriots tight end Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. Each athlete’s stomach, played by ESPN sports commentator Stephen A. Smith, interrupts their routine (hunger has no patience for housework) and demands to be fed. They happily oblige, lauding the snack as a good source of lean protein, a nutrition-focused pitch that’s relatively new to this market. Both athletes will also star in a digital series for the brand timed for release around the NFL draft in late April.
