New console and 'Zelda' game premiere in Nintendo's first Super Bowl spot

Leo Burnett Chicago gives gamers a sneak peek at the much-anticipated video game sequel.

Nintendo makes its Super Bowl debut with a preview of the next installment of the popular "Zelda" video game franchise. The 30-second spot from Leo Burnett Chicago features a soundtrack from Imagine Dragons, while an unhurried gamer explores Hyrule and battles massive monsters in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" on his Nintendo Switch, the legendary video game company’s newest console. The ad will air during the 4th quarter of the game. An extended 90-second cut is running online and showcases footage from other games, including "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe," "Splatoon 2," "Just Dance 2017" and "Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers."
