Johannes Leonardo propels young visionaries past a nightmarish dystopia of sameness
Closer to short film than ad, this spot from Johannes Leonardo is the first salvo in the Adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2016 integrated campaign. Stray dogs, burnt out cars, hazmat suits and ambient fog all feature in a thorough homage to films like "Blade Runner" and The "Terminator" series that predict doom for the human race, thanks to a crushing wave of conformity. Eight artists and thinkers ready to break onto the scene stroll casually through the hellscape, strutting inexorably toward a future unburdened by blank-eyed commuters, selfie sticks or the intentional uniformity of mass-market fashion.
