In the spot, directed by RSA films’ Robert Stromberg, an animated alien observes human life through video footage on earth. He seems unimpressed until Netflix pops up on the screen. The alien presses play and watches Netflix’s original shows and movies including Bridgerton, The Queen’s Gambit, Stranger Things and My Octopus Teacher.
The alien’s crew joins him and the group becomes immersed in the thrilling, funny and touching moments from Netflix originals. The aliens appear to finally understand humanity after watching the programs.
