Nestle India has launched a film on its social media channels, celebrating 100 years in India. The film was created by McCann Erickson.
The film captures snapshots of India just before its independence in 1947, showcasing Milk Maid from Nestlé making an alternative for sweets as the country attained freedom.
Stoking sentiments along the way, the film traces the route of a train ride with a mother and young son, then a passenger on an airline, to make its point that Nestlé has been a companion on India's journey for 100 years now. From a World Cup Cricket win to a successful rocket launch, the narrator explains that it has taken effort to win the nation's trust by giving India the very best in quality.
The film ends with a showcase of several brands from the Nestle stable.
