NBA high-fives fans in new video

Agency Translation tells the story of a young boy touched by the magic of basketball

Golden State Warriors player Andre Iguodala is what is called a "swingman" in basketball parlance, meaning he fills several roles. In "Hands" by Translation, the player's role is a postgame high-five which leaves a young fan unwilling to wipe away the magic from meeting the athlete.

In a series of quick vignette set to a classic tune by The Platters, we see the nine-year-old attempt his daily life — such as practice playing the trombone — all while retaining the magic of that fan interaction.

The ad is a continuation of the multiyear fan-focused "This is Why We Play" campaign for the sports league.
