Lee Newman, president of Ogilvy & Mather in Chicago, is taking over as CEO of the newly formed Mullen Lowe Group in the U.S.
The news comes on the heels of the merger between the two Interpublic Group agency brands, which is being led globally by CEO Alex Leikikh, previously CEO of Mullen.
Prior to joining Ogilvy in 2012, Newman served as managing director at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam. The move represents something of a reunion for Newman and Leikikh, who worked together at Fallon in Minneapolis.

"He has a terrific creative pedigree with his Fallon and Wieden experience, coupled with significant operational experience running Ogilvy Chicago and Wieden’s Amsterdam office. What's more, he has over a decade of luxury automotive experience on BMW and Audi, which means our Acura clients will benefit immediately from his expertise."
With Chief Creative Office Mark Wenneker, Newman will oversee Mullen Lowe’s four offices in Boston; Los Angeles; New York; and Winston-Salem, N.C.
