Welcome to Campaign's weekly round-up of the hires, departures and promotions across the industry.

Lindsay Pattison has been appointed chief transformation officer for Group M. Alongside her new title she will continue her role as chief executive of Maxus and remain a member of Group M’s global executive committee, reporting to the media group's global chief executive Kelly Clark.

Jim Bolton is joining his longstanding creative partner Jonathan Burley at Y&R London. Bolton takes the role of deputy executive creative director.

The agency has also hired two creative directors: Mark Farinha, who worked in the same role at Omnicom content agency Drum; and Gavin McGrath, who returns to the UK after three years as a creative director at MullenLowe in LA.

Joining them are creatives Joyce Kremer, Sophie Taylor, Nina Beyers, Tom Espezel-Bentley, Amy Fasey, Sean Johnson, Josh Pearce, Slavka Bozhinova and George Robb.

Biz Stone, is returning to Twitter, the social media company he co-founded with Jack Dorsey and Ev Williams.

Stone left Twitter in 2011 and since then has founded a number of internet-based services, including Q&A app Jelly in 2013. Jelly was acquired by Pinterest in March.

Mindshare has announced a number of senior appointments at Fast (its Future Adaptive Specialist Team).

Norm Johnston, formerly global chief strategy and digital officer, assumes the dual role of global chief digital officer for Mindshare and global chief executive of Fast. Gowthaman Ragothaman, currently Mindshare APAC chief operating officer and WPP global client lead on PepsiCo, takes the role of global chief strategy officer for Fast and retains the PepsiCo role.

Barry Lee, currently head of the London-based Mindshare Worldwide Fast Hub, adds the additional role of chief product officer for the Fast team. Tom Johnson, currently performance marketing director at Mindshare Worldwide, takes the role of chief client officer for Fast. Adam Ray, formerly global head of programmatic at Mindshare Worldwide, assumes the role of chief innovation officer, Fast.

The moves are a result of Fast's recent integration into the "heart of the agency".

Lori Senecal, Crispin Porter & Bogusky's global chief executive, is leaving the MDC Partners agency at the end of the year.

Senecal has been chief executive of Crispin Porter & Bogusky since March 2015, and held an additional role of president and chief executive of MDC's Partner Network.

Vix Jagger, Luke Tipping and Max Gebhardt have been hired by Anomaly. The creative directors will head a client list that includes Bank of Scotland, Beats By Dre and Budweiser. They will report to Oli Beale, the executive creative director and partner.

Patricia Stevenson, Tatler's publishing director, is leaving Condé Nast after nearly 25 years, without a job to go to. She intends to "explore what the next phase of my career will bring".

The publisher has also announced two promotions. Emma Redmayne has been named publishing director of the newly combined House & Garden and The World of Interiors commercial team. Kate Slesinger has been appointed publishing director of Tatler and Vanity Fair.

The company has also hired Tristan Taylor as head of branded content commercial, Condé Nast Britain digital. He was previously channel partnership strategist at AOL Advertising. 

Havas UK has promoted Paul Ward to group chief operating officer across all its creative and media businesses. Ward led the company's move to Kings Cross. His new responsibilities include overseeing cross-company integration. Ward will report into Chris Hirst, Havas UK CEO and chairman.

M&C Saatchi Merlin has launched a new division specialising in social influencers. It is led by Richard Thompson, chairman at M&C Saatchi Merlin.

Bauer Media has announced two new head of agency sales roles in its regional sales team.
Sandra Knowles and Justine Murphy will take on the new positions for Manchester and Scotland respectively. They will both report to Angela Wilkinson, commercial director, regional agencies.

Carrs Foods has appointed Tim Boote to the newly created role of marketing director. He will be based in Manchester, where he will lead the brand strategy for Carrs Foods and the brands within its portfolio, which include Paul Hollywood, St Pierre and Baker Street.

Amplifi's Simon Bevan is joining Havas Media Group as director of media investment. He will report to Mark Connolly, managing director of investment and solutions.

Jo Hagger, EMEA business partner at Google, has joined WPP's Possible as UK managing director. She will work closely with head of client services Lizzie Snell and report to UK chief executive Neil Miller.

Digital agency Dare appointed Mireia Lopez as its creative director, and Rebecca Hudson as head of delivery. Lopez joins from creative agency Somewhat, where she was creative director. Hudson joins from production studio Unit9, where she was executive digital producer. 

Oliver has appointed Proximity London Creative Director, Rob Kavanagh, to take on the role of executive creative director on a number of key client accounts. He will report to the group's UK’s chief creative officer Brian Cooper.

Experiential marketing agency N2O has announced the appointment of Jody Measures as art director. He joins from BWP where he was creative director.

King, the interactive entertainment company, has appointed a new president of advertising. Brian Ames, formerly of Snapchat, will be responsible for growing King's advertising business and providing strategic leadership across product, sales, marketing, strategy and operations. 

Agency Acuity has hired Oliver's Elton Ross as managing partner, joining Peter Cronin and Tony Searle on the board.
