Kleenex showed one barber’s story of giving free haircuts to the homeless, American Kennel Club gave advice about displaying love to dogs, Sweet Earth Natural Foods reminded its followers to take their own time to relax and Fender gave a shout-out to Kurt Cobain on his would-be 50th birthday.

In a Facebook video post that saw 33,881 shares, Kleenex tells the story of Rudy Ibanez, a barber in San Antonio, Texas, who gives out free haircuts to the homeless. The 1:24 video was crafted in partnership with NowThis and is part of the brand’s "Someone Needs One" campaign. The campaign, created by VSA Partners Chicago, began in 2015 with a goal to make Kleenex into a brand all about showcasing kindness. Other videos in the campaign have shown people offering Kleenex to others who need it to wipe away tears. The post also received 6.6 million views, 134,000 reactions and 3,100 comments.
Kylie Jenner’s brand Kylie Cosmetics is known for its scarcity, selling out in minutes after the reality TV star posts about a new product, usually lip kits, on social media. On February 22, the Kardashian kid introduced the brand’s latest makeup product, called Kylighters, over social. On Facebook, this post saw 21,486 shares, 1.4 million views, 62,000 reactions and 12,000 comments.
American Kennel Club
In celebration of National Love Your Pet Day, American Kennel Club unleased a 50-second video on Facebook sharing five ways to show dogs some love. The video, which suggests dog owners give their pooches massages and toys, and volunteer at organizations that help other dogs, generated 14,055 shares, 498,811 views, 30,000 reactions and 584 comments.
Sweet Earth Natural Foods
In a Facebook post that received 8,176 shares, Sweet Earth Natural Foods, a creator of healthy meals, posted a message of inspiration, reminding its followers to be sure to take care of themselves first and foremost. With a simple photo of a coffee mug, and the message "you can’t pour from any empty cup," the brand also saw 37,000 reactions and 287 comments from its post.
If Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain was still alive, he would have celebrated his 50th birthday on February 20. In remembrance, Fender posted a photo to Facebook of the skillful frontman, wishing him a happy birthday. The post saw 7,374 shares, 22,000 reactions and 1,200 comments.
