The move follows a reshuffle at Exterion Media in February. The out-of-home company introduced EM Solutions which incorporates the sales, marketing, insight, technology and delivery departments. EM Futures will concentrate on "forward planning, strategic thinking and innovation".
Jordan’s remit will include research and insight, client sales, creative solutions, digital development and design.
She begins at Exterion in September and will report into Malcolm Stoodley, the commercial director.
Jordan joined Mindshare as a partner in 2008. In her role as head of client leadership she worked on the Marks & Spencer account. Other clients have included The Mirror, Mediacom and Initiative Media.
Stoodley said: "This role will be central to forming and delivering our commercial strategy and Suzy’s understanding and experience of the agency landscape will be an invaluable asset in this.
"We are proud to be at the forefront of innovation in the industry but we are not complacent – EM Futures will future-proof our vision and ensure that we are consistently driving the industry forward."
The EM Futures team will also be made up of Julia Edgington, who has been promoted to head of creative solutions, and Richard Smith who has been promoted to head of client sales.
Jordan said: "This is a transformational time for Exterion and I’m looking forward to driving a step change in the business.
"Exterion has already demonstrated time and time again its world-class insight, innovation and creative capabilities and I can’t wait to lead the strategy and team to take this to the next level."
