LONDON — MediaCom picked up the Grand Prix at the Campaign Media Awards on Wednesday after winning in three categories.
In a packed room at the London Hilton on Park Lane, PHD and Drum were awarded Campaign of the Year for "The Lego Movie ad break," for which brands such as BT and Confused.com recreated their own TV spots in Lego form.
MediaCom won in Public Sector and Charity for the Home Office; Grocery, Soft Drinks and Household for Lucozade; and Transport for Volkswagen.
Elsewhere, Channel 4 landed TV Sales Team of the Year after 12 months of innovation and strong commercial partnerships. Channel 5 was named Cross-Media Sales Team of the Year in recognition of the broadcaster’s innovative partnerships.
Time Out claimed Print Sales Team of the Year, Weve won Digital Sales Team of the Year, Global scooped Radio Sales Team of the Year and Ocean Outdoor landed Outdoor Sales Team of the Year.
