The latest iteration of the McVitie's "sweeet" campaign continues the fail-safe formula of combining a cute animals with a retro soundtrack.
The new ad for Breakfast Oaty Breaks, by Grey London, features a wide-eyed squirrel with a jet pack and the theme tune from the 80s TV show Airwolf. MEC handled the social media executions. McVitie's has invested £3 million in marketing the new snack. The work was written by Ben Buswell, art directed by Andrew Singleton and directed by Owen Trevor through Stink.
