Matt Adams: takes on CMA director role

Matt Adams, a managing director at iProspect UK, has become a director at the Content Marketing Association.

He joins CMA’s management team working alongside: Claire Hill, the managing director; Andrew Hirsch, the chief executive at John Brown Media and chairman at the CMA; Clare Broadbent, the chief executive at Cedar Communications; and Sean King, the chief executive at Seven.

The move follows iProspect joining the CMA in May 2014.

Adams said: "Content marketing and its influence continues to grow and it’s an honour to take up this role at the CMA, putting me and iProspect UK at the heart of the industry.

"I look forward to working with Clare and the wider management team as the CMA continue to lead the way in content marketing excellence."

Red Bee Media, the entertainment and content marketing agency, has also joined the CMA. Its clients include Barclays, the BBC, Hyundai, Halfords and UKTV.

Andy Bryant, the managing director at Red Bee Media, said: "We decided to join the CMA because we’d seen the good work it’s been doing to promote content marketing to client-side marketers.

"We wanted to be part of that to raise our profile with prospective clients and the marketing industry as a whole."

Clare Hill, the managing director at the CMA, said: "Being able to welcome both Red Bee Media and Matt Adams into the CMA team is indicative of our mission to promote content as one of the most effective marketing tools, as we work with the best in the industry to demonstrate its influence."
