Mash Media confirms acquisition of Confex

Mash Media today (20 September) confirmed the acquisition of the International Confex exhibition from UBM Live for an undisclosed sum.

The show, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, now joins Mash Media’s portfolio of five other events including the Event Production Awards.

Julian Agostini, managing director of Mash Media, said: "I am delighted to officially welcome such a well-loved event as International Confex into the Mash stable. I have been an admirer of the show for many years and this is an exciting and significant acquisition for the company.
