Martell creates rooftop bar in Cognac

Martell, the Cognac brand owned by Pernod Ricard, has created a rooftop bar in the spirit's hometown in France.

Indigo by Martell spans 420 metres squared and has been created a range of French artists and designers, including French interior design studio Prémices, Atelier W110, Christophe Bret and Thierry Drevelle.

The wood used on the rooftop terrace is also from a local source. The French oak is supplied by Tonnellerie Leroi in Cognac. There are also other natural and recycled materials used in the space.

The space is open until 30 September and will serve a range of Cognac cocktails, as well as views across the city.

Pernod Ricard also plans to use it for pop-up events.
