Marriott Rewards will launch a branded bus in London as part of 'two days of fun' planned for its sponsorship of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Global Games.

Marriott Rewards, the loyalty programme of hotel group Marriott International, will reveal a double decker London bus branded with NBA and Marriott Rewards insignia ahead of the Global Games tomorrow (14 January).

The bus will also come kitted out with a basketball hoop. Celebrities such as footballer Didier Drogba will make appearances on the bus and test out their shooting skills.

In addition, two basketball fans will be recruited via social media to join the participating celebrities for an on-court experience during the main event. One fan will win one million Marriott Rewards points to go to towards a trip around the world.

Up to 30 Marriott Rewards Elite members will get a chance to watch the game from premium seats at The O2, as well as attend a meet and greet with former NBA players Horace Grant and Rick Fox.

Experiential activity is to be amplified on social media through the hashtag #AroundTheWorld.

Yesterday (12 January) Marriott International and NBA announced Marriott Rewards as the presenting partner of the Global Games London 2016. The hotel brand is the first company to partner with the sporting group across international games on five different continents.

With this extension of our NBA partnership, we are creating memorable experiences for our Marriott Rewards members and connecting them with others who share their passion for basketball and travel.
