Mark Gordon joins Media 10 as head of sales

International Confex event manager Mark Gordon has been appointed head of sales for Media 10's design portfolio.

Gordon, who begins his new role today (7 October), was formerly an event manager at UBM for International Confex and Live Experience Expo. He previously worked at Haymarket for more than 14 years working as advertising director for Event, RSVP and AV magazines.

Daren Newton, publishing and events director at Media 10, said: "For some time now I have been searching for the right individual to head my sales teams across our design portfolio and with Mark’s experience, I’m very excited about the future growth within these existing brands.

"With Mark on board overseeing the sales teams it will also enable me to focus on the new business opportunities available and to grow Media 10’s products within the architecture, design and build markets."

Gordon added: "I'm extremely excited to be joining Media 10 on its design portfolio, especially off the back of the enormous success of the recent 100% Design exhibition."
