Malt Scotch whisky brand The Macallan has enlisted agency Because to devise a sensory consumer experience, featuring partnerships with Esquire magazine and photographer Mario Testino.

The ticketed event, dubbed The Macallan Residence, will be held at Two Temple Place in London on 2 and 3 June. Because has been tasked to incorporate the worlds of fashion, food and photography into the experience.

Guests will be invited to unlock the door of a temporary London 'lair' and embark on a sensory tour through The Macallan 1824 series, comprising of Gold, Amber, Sienna and Ruby single malts.

Mario Testino’s The Masters of Photography exhibition will be held in its own bar, which will serve up creative whisky cocktails, while Esquire will be offering exclusive styling services and insights.

During the two-hour long experience, guests will also be able to enjoy a masterclass in mixology and a chocolate pairing session with Artisan du Chocolat.

Before leaving the lair, visitors will be given the chance to pop into a themed photobooth and collect sartorial souvenirs.
