Hoelzer will assume much of the duties of M2M International’s managing director and founder Thomson, whose departure was announced by Media Week today, although her exact title has yet to be confirmed.
The appointment has yet to be verified by M2M and the agency declined to comment.
Media Week understands that like Thomson, Hoelzer will be primarily based in New York and will be tasked with managing the agency’s global fashion, beauty and luxury business.
She has spent the past 15 months working at UM prior to which she was director of engagement at BBDO.
Hoelzer is no stranger to Omnicom, having worked as managing director of OMD’s North American Global accounts between July 2004 and January 2008.
M2M specialises in fashion, beauty and luxury sectors and clients include Hyundai, Tommy Hilfiger and Momentum Pictures.
