The 53rd London Film Festival runs from 14-29 October and will be supported by an extensive marketing campaign.
LoveFilm is launching a microsite to encouraged its customers to discuss the film line-up and is offering the chance to win tickets to the festival's gala opening screening, the world premiere of Wes Anderson's adaptation of The Fantastic Mr Fox.
The site's editor, Helen Cowley, will be blogging and tweeting live from the event as well as interviewing actors and directors. The content will be used online and in LoveFilm's magazine. The tie-up will also be promoted through the company's weekly newsletter, which is sent to 850,000 members.
Selected festival content will also be featured on all of LoveFilm's co-brands, including Guardian's Sofa Cinema and Tesco DVD rental, plus Amazon.co.uk.
LoveFilm communication will also be included in BFI member emails throughout the festival.
