Gruwez will report directly to Stanislas Auber, general manager for Pepsi Lipton International. He will be responsible for the Lipton Ice Tea business across Western Europe.
Gruwez has worked at PepsiCo for the past 15 years and previously held the role of marketing director, beverages for UK and Ireland, before becoming the business director for Western Europe.
He oversaw PepsiCo’s UK business portfolio transformation work, which led to the launch of Gatorade, Pepsi Raw and Lipton.
Chugh will report to Gruwez in her new role as marketing director. She will be responsible for developing and delivering the marketing innovation strategy for the company’s portfolio across Western Europe.
Chugh has worked at Unilever for 13 years, across the Dove, Persil and Walls Ice Cream brands. She led the innovation agenda for Dove within the global deodorants category, launching Dove Go Fresh and Dove Minimising innovations.
Pepsi Lipton International is a joint venture between PespsiCo and Unilever that started in 2003 and covers the tea category for each company in Western Europe.
