Lastminute reviews UK ad account

LONDON - Lastminute.com is reviewing UK advertising agency arrangements.

The company has shortlisted five agencies to pitch - its incumbent Farm will not be involved in the process

Manning Gottlieb OMD who replaced Smarter Communications as the travel company's media agency last year is unaffected by the review, which will be managed by UK marketing director Julie Davidson.

Lastminute.com, which was founded in 1998 by Martha Lane Fox and Brent Hoberman, was acquired by Sabre Holdings, owner of the Travelocity brand, in July 2005. Its European chief marketing officer is Simon Thompson who joined from Honda last year.
