Bartlett, who joins from Ask.com, took up the role last week. She will be responsible for Lastminute, Travelocity, Holiday Autos and Zuji across Europe and Asia, and report to Matthew Crummack, president of Travelocity International.
The company said the role was created following a strategic review to ensure activity is used ‘across both regions to support growth plans’.
Bartlett worked at Ask.com for six years, rising to senior global marketing director. Prior to this, she had a seven-year spell at BT.
Lastminute still intends to fill the UK marketing director role, which has been vacant since the departure of Mark Fells in October.
