The Technology Showcase, a five-day event with 28 tech companies offering products to touch, try and see, is coming to Westfield London at the end of October.

Organised by Upper Street Events, the showcase at Westfield London will feature The Hub Stage, bringing the best technology to life, with demonstrations of ground breaking technology, guest appearances and chances to win prizes.

Land Rover will be debuting its All-New Discovery, following its global reveal at Paris Motor Show earlier this month. The vehicle is the first to feature remote intelligent seat fold, configurable from a smartphone. British Gas will showcase its Hive Acting Heating system, and products from smart energy to Boiler IQ, as well as offering a virtual reality experience showing how a truly connected home can work. Visitors can also take a selfie on the HiveSelfie wall.

Hasbro's Nerf range will be available for consumers to try out their skills on a new range of blasters. Other brands activating at the event include the Ehang Ghostdrone, Bayang Audio, Epson and Briztech, with the latter offering demonstrations of its virtual reality headsets.

The Technology Showcase is taking place from 26-30 October. Earlier this year, computer brand Acer unveiled a 'fashtech' experience at Westfield London, which saw four shop mannequins - three adults and one child - posing with different Acer laptops.
