Tyrrells: St Luke's will create new creative platform

Company has consolidated creative business into St Luke's and Engine.

KP Snacks has picked St Luke’s as its lead creative agency for Tyrrells, Popchips and KP Nuts.

The brands were previously handled by Wieden & Kennedy London, And Rising and BMB respectively.

The review kicked off in March because KP wanted to consolidate its ad accounts into two shops after it acquired Tyrrells in 2017 and Popchips in 2018.

Engine works on the Pom-Bear, Hula Hoops, McCoy's and Butterkist accounts.

The pitch process was run in-house by Henry Wisdom, group procurement for marketing services.

Kevin McNair, marketing director at KP, said: "St Luke’s have clearly demonstrated they understand the scale of ambition we have for our brands and a strong path to get there. They’ll be starting work on launching a new creative platform for Tyrrells, which we cannot wait to bring to the market."

KP’s media planning and buying business is held by Vizeum.

Neil Henderson, St Luke’s chief executive, added: "It’s a privilege to be given the chance to work on some of the best-known and innovative food brands in the UK. And it makes Friday nibbles at St Luke’s even more of a treat."
