The first UK branch of immersive children's 'city' Kidzania has announced it will open its doors on 25 June at Westfield London.

The new destination expects to host one million guests in its opening year and it is the 19th to open internationally. The space can host up to 1,700 visitors at any given time, and can also be hired for corporate events.

The 75,000 square foot play area is equivalent in size to Leicester Square, and has secured partnerships with the likes of Renault, H&M and British Airways to allow children to try their hand at a range of professions.

The airline brand has installed a 16-tonne plane at the location, which has a ceiling the height of Heathrow’s Terminal Five. All visitors entering Kidzania will be welcomed through a branded airport terminal and board the real A319 aircraft, where kids can join the 'Aviation Academy' or 'Cabin Crew Training School'.

Children wil be able to explore more than 60 real-world establishments, including a hospital, police station, fire station and theatre.
