Odysseus Arms spot lets children make the case that torture is wrong
A new online PSA from Amnesty International uses the voices of children to shame those who would condone the use of torture by the American government. The 2-minute online spot by San Francisco agency Odysseus Arms is part of Amnesty’s "The America I Believe In" campaign, which also includes a Statue of Liberty-themed logo. The PSA juxtaposes the sincere concern of the children with graphic images of prisoners tortured while in American hands. The campaign’s microsite features information about related human rights abuses, and visitors are encouraged to submit videos explaining the kind of values they believe the country should be living up to.
